Cookie policy

This English version is an informative translation provided for convenience. The legally binding text is the Spanish original, which prevails in the event of any discrepancy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device when you visit it. They serve many purposes, from keeping a session alive to measuring how pages are used. Some are strictly necessary for the site to work; others require your consent under the European rules on privacy in electronic communications.

What this site uses

Strictly necessary. Vercel’s hosting infrastructure may set technical session cookies (for load balancing or protection against attacks, for example). They are essential for the site to reach your browser and are exempt from consent. They contain no information that identifies you and expire when the browser session ends.

Theme preference. The site is always shown in dark mode and no longer offers a theme switch, so we store no preference. If you visited the site earlier, a key may remain in your browser’s local storage, named qx-theme, left over from then: it is no longer read or written, it is not a cookie, it never travels to any server and it only contains the word light or dark. You can remove it by clearing the site’s data in your browser.

Language hint. If your browser declares a preference for a language this site exists in, we show a discreet notice offering that version. When you dismiss or accept it, we store that decision in your browser’s local storage, under the key qx-lang-hint, so the notice is not repeated. It is not a cookie, it never travels to any server and it contains no information that identifies you. As it responds to an action you expressly request, it is exempt from consent. You can remove it by clearing the site’s data in your browser.

Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics, which works without cookies by design. It sets no cookies on your device, does not fingerprint your browser and collects no information that identifies you. With no cookies and no personal data involved, this setup requires no consent banner under the GDPR or the ePrivacy rules.

Advertising and marketing. None. We use no ad networks, no remarketing pixels, no social media tracking scripts and no marketing automation tools. This site sets no third-party tracking cookies.

The free tools use no cookies

The tools on this site process the files you select inside your own browser. They set no cookies, do not store the contents of those files and do not send them to any server.

How to manage cookies

You can control and delete cookies from your browser settings. All major browsers let you block them entirely, delete existing ones or set per-site preferences. Bear in mind that blocking the strictly necessary ones may stop parts of the site from loading properly.

For more detail, see your browser’s documentation: Chrome, Firefox, Safari.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if we add new tools or if legal requirements change. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision.
